I have created a blog to keep my family and friends who live far away from us updated on the happenings of our lives. I will do my best at updating this with events of our lives and hope that I can prompt my other siblings to do the same. Hint, hint. LOL.<br /><br />Jake (my wonderful stepson) is 13 and in 8th grade. He will be 14 in May. He is a wonderful young man who is doing extremely well in school, has gained interest in learning guitar (we just bought him his first electric guitar for Christmas) and we enjoy every moment we get to spend with him. His father and I are very proud of him!<br /><br />Jerry and I both work for Crestron Electronics. We travel quite a bit during the week, Jerry nationwide, me throughout Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. We like our jobs, but also very much enjoy being able at home on the weekends. We moved into our dream home in April 2007. We thought it was a bit larger than we needed for the 3 of us, but since moving in we have had the pleasure of entertaining many friends and family and it has been great having the room to fit everyone comfortably. <br /><br />We have 3 cats; Duncan, Sam and Boots. They are all good boys and make us laugh constantly.
